Medicare Claiming

Consultations are claimable through Medicare if you have a valid referral and a Medicare card. Our staff can process this after full payment is received. 

For babies, Medicare will backdate claims to the date of birth. Your paediatrician would have received a 3-month referral from the delivering obstetrician. If your baby is older than 3 months, a new GP referral is required. 

Please register with Medicare as soon as possible and provide us with your Medicare number so we can process the claim on your behalf. Make sure to register your newborn baby and children for the Medicare Safety Net to receive higher Medicare rebates once you have reached the threshold.
